Full programme build
An audit-ready programme mapped to all 64 KSBs, with the employer and learner onboarding delivered
A UK training provider commissioning its first delivery of the Skills England Level 4 AI and Automation Practitioner standard.
The provider had won the standard but had none of the programme written, with a first cohort approaching. A credible AI and automation apprenticeship has to cover all 64 knowledge, skills and behaviour requirements across 420 guided learning hours, pass audit and stay engaging enough for a learner to complete.
Skill the workforce
We set out the engagement step by step.
Specification and high-level design
We produced the programme specification and high-level design first, so every later artefact traced back to the standard: the competency framework, the delivery model and how the 13 to 18 month journey fits around a working apprentice.
Curriculum and scheme of work
An eleven-section curriculum mapped to all 64 KSBs, with a 420 guided learning hour scheme of work, unit-level low-level designs and off-the-job logging built in. The syllabus is deliberately tool-agnostic, teaching across n8n, Zapier, Make, Power Automate, Copilot and Claude so learners build judgement rather than loyalty to one product.
Assessment, IQA and the EPA gateway
Formative and summative assessment, the internal quality assurance plan, mock end-point assessment and gateway materials, all written to be handed to an auditor as-is.
Statutory content from the start
Safeguarding, Prevent, British Values, EDI and GDPR are built into the programme from the start, so it meets its statutory compliance requirements throughout.
Delivered the onboarding ourselves
We scripted and delivered the employer insight session and the learner onboarding live, launching the programme with delivery from the team that wrote it.
