Microsoft Copilot training for accounting practices
Most practices already have AI inside Microsoft 365. We teach the team to use it on real practice work, safely and within ICAEW and PCRT guidance, with a certificate for every attendee's CPD record.
Nearly every practice now uses AI for some of its daily work. Far fewer have trained their people to use it well or written down how client information may be used with it. That gap is where the time savings are lost and where the confidentiality risk sits.

The programme
Four modules, taught on accountancy work
Each module runs on its own or as part of a series, online or at the practice, using the firm's own templates and examples.
Safe use and a firm AI policy
Client confidentiality under the ICAEW Code of Ethics and the January 2026 professional guidance on AI, and what Copilot does and does not do with firm data. The session ends with a draft AI policy for the practice.
Copilot in Excel for month-end work
Variance commentary for management accounts, spotting anomalies in a transaction list, reconciliations and formula help, with the workbook preparation Copilot needs to give reliable answers.
Client work in Outlook, Word and Teams
Client correspondence, engagement letters and management letters drafted from the firm's own templates. Long threads summarised, and meeting notes taken with settings suited to sensitive client calls.
Agents and automation
A Copilot Studio agent that answers staff questions from the procedures manual, and Power Automate flows for document intake, month-end checklists and client chasers.
